Week 1 - Introduction to Digital Media.

Digital Media is the media we consume digitally. Using social networks and streaming online are examples of this. Digital media itself uses binary code rather than linearly recording like Analouge did.

So far I have learnt that we use more digital media in our lives then we do Analouge and that digital media uses 1s and 0s (binary code).


Cross Media Synergy - an example of this would be 'Harry Potter' as it not only has a novel series, it also has both a game and a set of films. This means that it can be consumed throughout all sectors of the media.
